President Radev appoints ambassadors to Belgium, the Netherlands and Kazakhstan

President Rumen Radev has issued decrees appointing Bulgarian ambassadors to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The decrees were published in the State Gazette, reported BTA.

Natalia Evgenieva Uzunova has been appointed ambassador to Belgium. She is a career diplomat and the spouse of Bulgarian musician and film producer Borislav Chuchkov.

Elisabeth Konstantinova Varbanova is the new Bulgarian ambassador to the Netherlands. She is also a career diplomat and has previously served as Director for Common Foreign and Security Policy at the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Georgi Petrov Vodenski will serve as Ambassador of Bulgaria to Kazakhstan. He is a career diplomat and has headed the Consular Relations Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Under the Constitution, the President appoints the heads of diplomatic missions upon the proposal of the Council of Ministers.
