Warm autumn weather in the forecast

On Wednesday minimum temperatures will range between 3° C. and 8° C., for Sofia around 4° C. Visibility will be diminished in the morning in the valleys and lowlands. During the day the weather will be predominantly sunny with a temporary increase of clouds, more significant over the Southern and the mountain regions, there may be light rain. There will be a light to moderate wind from the South-Southeast. Maximum temperatures 16-21° C., for Sofia around 18° C.

Over the Black Sea coast there will be scattered clouds, no precipitation is in the forecast. Maximum air temperatures 16-18° C., temperature of the sea water 17-19° C., sea state 2-3.

Over the mountains there will be significant clouds, and rain in some parts of the Western portion of the Balkan Range and the mountains of Southwestern Bulgaria, on higher ground there will be snow. There will be a moderate wind from the Southwest. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around 14° C., at 2,000 m. around 6° C.

On Thursday the weather will be predominantly sunny with a temporary increase of clouds, more significant over the Southern and the mountain regions where there will be light rain. There will be fog or low stratus clouds in the lowlands. Daytime temperatures will rise, reaching 22° C.
