A meeting titled “Mission Water” is taking place today at Burgas State University “Prof. Dr Assen Zlatarov”. The event gathers researchers involved in the European Union’s Mission “Restore Our Ocean and Waters” under the European Commission, the university said.
Participants will discuss current environmental policies and share scientific expertise in aquaculture, fisheries, and sustainable water ecosystem management.
Students, young scientists, and faculty members of Burgas State University will have the opportunity to learn more about the EU’s latest priorities and the challenges facing marine and freshwater research.
Burgas State University is among the signatories of the EU Mission Charter for the restoration of oceans, seas, and inland waters, and promotes its goals through scientific and educational initiatives, according to BTA.
