Everything possible will be done to ensure that no segments of the population are negatively affected, Minister of Social Affairs Borislav Gutsanov said, speaking about the preparation of the draft budget for 2026.
"I don't see anyone saying that the ‘Swiss rule’ will be changed. This is the first time I hear this from you. When we talk about pensions, about mothers, it will be done so that we can do everything possible so that no segments of the population are harmed and that the pensions will be according to the ‘Swiss rule’ and that there will be an increase in funds for mothers in the second year for the first, second and third child. These are currently the discussions we are having with the parties that are in this government and you can see that there has been no case of failing to reach an understanding on these topics," Gutsanov pointed out
