In its successful project "The Laureates", Cantus Firmus Orchestra once again presents to the Bulgarian audience young classical music performers at the beginning of their careers, who have received awards at prestigious competitions. On November 4, the Grand Prix winners of the fourth Cantus Firmus National Competition for Young Instrumentalists will perform in the Central Military Club in Sofia.

Darin Lambrev

15-year-old cellist Darin Lambrev and 13-year-old pianist Filip Angelov are graduates of the Lyubomir Pipkov National Music School in Sofia. Darin is also a junior student in the class of Prof. Romain Garioud at the Music Academy in Darmstadt - Germany. The two have demonstrated impressive artistry and maturity in the competition of the Cantus Firmus Music Agency. Part of their awards is the opportunity to play as soloists with the orchestra, which has partnered on the Bulgarian stage with renowned musicians such as Joshua Bell, Nigel Kennedy and Mischa Maisky.
