To celebrate the 120th anniversary of the birth of Bulgarian intellectual Dimitar Nenov, a screening of the music documentary Dimitar Nenov and the Dimensions of Elegance will take place on 11 November at the Consulate General of Bulgaria in New York, the diplomatic mission announced on its Facebook page.

The 18-minute film explores the life and work of Nenov — pianist, composer, architect, and public figure of the early 20th century. It features the only surviving recording of Nenov performing as a pianist, along with previously unseen photographs from his personal archive. The soundtrack includes performances by pianist Veneta Neynska, one of the film's creators, alongside director Jassen Haralampiev. The screening will be in Bulgarian with English subtitles, as confirmed by the Consulate.

The following day, on 12 November, Veneta Neynska will give a solo concert at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall in New York.
