“Podkrepa” begins a series of protest actions in key state administrations across the country, BGNES reports. The first of them is today at noon in front of the Central Office of the National Statistical Institute in Sofia and in front of the institution’s Territorial Statistical Bureaus in the country.
“We do not want privileges, but respect for our work and the opportunity to live with dignity. Without a stable administration, the state cannot function,” the union states. According to the protesters, their dissatisfaction is caused by the neglect of the problems of the state administration, insufficient remuneration and the growing wave of public pressure and discrediting of employees.
The main demands include a decent increase in wages, corresponding to the increased volume of work and inflationary processes, cessation of public pressure and guaranteeing normal working conditions.
