Vasil Levski Revisited

In this section, we introduce you to the life and work of Bulgaria’s national hero Vasil Levski. Here you can find out who Levski was and why we, Bulgarians, pay homage to his lasting legacy. The initiative is part of a nationwide program with which Bulgaria marks the 150th annivesary since the death of an outstanding personality known as the Apostle of Bulgarian freedom. This project is realized with the financial support of the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture.
