Tourism is among Europe’s leading economic sectors. Europe is still the most visited of continents. To protect this achievement we have to take joint action at the level of the European Union and begin feeling more like partners, not like competitors, said Bulgarian Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova in Brussels. She is there for the high level conference of the European Commission on Attracting Investments in Tourism. „The share of tourism in Bulgaria is roughly 13%, or 3% above the European average. Therefore the sector has been given special priority by the government and we are set to attract more investments and achieve greater competitiveness”, Angelkova also said.
