Improve the Forest roadshow opens in Varna

The roadshow Improve the Forest dedicated to the Forest Week opened in a special pavilion at the entrance of Varna’s Seaside Park. The CEO of the Northeastern State Enterprise Veselin Ninov called on citizens to be active and send signals in cases of illegal logging. He added that illegal logging was part of general crime in the country but that civil society in cooperation with public institutions stood good chances of curbing it. Many locals and Varna guests attended the event. They received conifer saplings on the occasion.On Monday the roadshow Improve the Forest will arrive in Sofia.
