Bulgarian government decides to launch Sofia Airport management concession

Bulgarian Transport Minister Ivaylo Moskovski has announced that the Bulgarian government has decided to start a concession procedure for the management of the Sofia Airport for a period of 35 years. Details about the decision will be published in the coming days in the official paper of the European Commision. For the entire period of the concession, the net revenue for Bulgaria would reach 600 million euros, it was reported. Potential candidates for the concession are almost all major European and non-European operators of airports.
