President Rossen Plevneliev will participate today in the 27th National Ceremony for paying homage to the victims of totalitarian regimes in the 20th century at Persin island (near the town of Belene), known also as Belene island. The ceremony will be held under the motto "The Song of Freedom".
The "Belene Island" Foundation is one of the organizers of the annual national ceremony.
