The European Commission has announced that Bulgaria will receive almost 160 million euro for two energy projects under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).
29.8 million euro will be provided for a new 400 KW electricity line between Dobroudja and Bourgas. The country will receive another 130 million euro for extending the gas storage facility in Chiren.
