Polish Air Force to guard Bulgaria, Deputy Defense Minister of Poland says

Authorities in Poland officially announced in June about joint security activities in Bulgarian airspace, offnews.bg reported, quoting Radio Poland. "Poland will be air policing over the Balkans, Bulgaria and Romania. A decision has already been made and now it is a matter of refining the details," Deputy Minister of Defence of Poland Tomasz Szatkowski has said. The possibility of joint security activities in Bulgarian airspace was introduced with changes in the law on defense at the beginning of the year. According to Radio Poland, the agreement between Bulgaria and Poland is expected to be signed in the coming months.
