During the second quarter of the year, the government debt across the EU has gone down as a percentage of the GDP, according to a Eurostat report.
At the close of the second quarter, the debt of the 28 EU members dropped to 84.3 percent of the region’s GDP, as compared to 84.5 percent during the first quarter.
