Two men detained onboard Sofia-Istanbul train for carrying 3 kilograms of cocaine

Over 3 kilograms of cocaine were seized in a train travelling from Sofia to Istanbul during a police operation at Svilengrad train station (Southeast Bulgaria). The price of the confiscated drugs was estimated at EUR 120,000. Two men aged 26 and 28 were detained during the operation. The police are also looking for accomplices. One of the detainees has a criminal record and was previously arrested for robberies and drug possession.
