On November 21 (Monday) Bulgaria’s Ombudsman Maya Manolova, members of the National Referendum 2016 initiative committee Toshko Yordanov and Ivo Siromahov and independent experts Valeri Naydenov, Mira Radeva and Boyan Atanasov are to submit to Bulgaria’s National Assembly a draft bill for a single-member majoritarian electoral system in two rounds. According to the draft bill, Bulgaria will be divided into 231 single-member electoral districts. Another 9 electoral districts will be launched abroad, the draft bill further envisages.
