EC spokesperson Natasha Bertaud has said that out of requested by Bulgaria 160 million euros to combat illegal migration, 101 million have already been transferred, while the approval of 50 million more was pending. 82 million of the money will be used for curbing migration pressures and expanding opportunities for integrated monitoring and modernization of communication systems at the external borders of Bulgaria.
