The Interior Ministry has stated that all conditions have been created so that draining the fuel tanks in Hitrino will carry a minimal risk for the people carrying out the operation. Due to the enormous workload of the teams inviolved, information about the process will be provided at two briefings a day – at 8 AM and at 5 PM.

During a thorough inspection of the houses it was ascertained that some stone surfaces were heated; they have been drenched in foam to prevent any risk of incidents.
