On occasion of the 30th anniversary of the European Educational Programme Erasmus Bulgaria’s caretaker Minister of Education and Science Nikolay Denkov announced that so far over 20,000 Bulgarian students and over 13,000 lecturers benefitted from that programme. Many Bulgarians studied in universities in Germany, Great Britain, France, Belgium, Poland, Spain, Greece and Italy under Erasmus programme. Their number amounts to 1452 in 2017 only.
