The Central Election Commission (CEC) made public the official results of the early elections for National Assembly of Bulgaria held on 26 March.
In the new, 44th parliament, GERB, the party which won the election has 95 seats, followed by the Bulgarian Socialist Party with 80 seats. The United Patriots will have 27 MPs, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) – 26, Veselin Mareshki’s party Volya, which is entering parliament for the first time – 12.
The number of voters according to the electoral rolls stood at 6,810,341, of whom 3,682,151 cast their vote.
