The 5th unit of Kozloduy nuclear power plant has been going under a planned annual maintenance and modernization. The unit will be loaded with fresh nuclear fuel during the maintenance campaign. Some measures aimed at extending the life of the 1,000 megawatt reactor will be also fulfilled. Its thermal power is expected to increase with 4% after the annual maintenance.
