Scientists from 40 countries take part in Sofia Mathematics Days

The second edition of the Mathematics Days conference is taking place in Sofia from July 10th to the 14th.

The event is dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Institute of Mathematics and Informatics and is taking place with the participation of around 250 scientists from over 40 countries, among them world acclaimed mathematician Prof. Efim Zelmanov from the University of California, San Diego, holder of a Fields medal in 1994 (the equivalent of a mathematical Nobel prize). More than 170 lectures will be delivered during the event.
