Bulgarian border checkpoints are well-equipped to fight contraband, Greek media say

A journalistic report in Greek media has shown the number of Greek customs officials is much smaller than that of Bulgarian officials and it has been pointed out in Greek border checkpoints there was lack of equipment necessary to fight contraband. 

According to Greek journalists, Bulgarian border checkpoints were better equipped and had the needed personnel to combat contraband of goods. 

According to police data from Bulgaria, the biggest share of contraband goes to alcohol and cigarettes.
