Minister Kralev in Moscow: Sport means prevention of youth aggression

Bulgarian Minister of Youth and Sports, Krasen Kralev, has taken part in an international meeting of ministers responsible for youth policies, which takes place in the Russian capital city of Moscow. Delegations from 70 countries from around the world participate in the event.

Minister Kralev has identified the fight against growing aggression, as well as prevention of addictions among young people aged 15-29 as top priorities of his ministry.

In Bulgaria, young people are about 1.3 million or 1/5 of the country's population. There are cases of aggression in school and in the street. Therefore, a number of projects are being implemented, aimed at the prevention of aggression and addictions, as sport is the major approach used, Minister Kralev pointed out.
