There are no reasons for calling for a vote of no confidence against the government, head of the parliamentary group of the ruling GERB party, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, said in an interview for the BNR.

According to him, the aim of the opposition was to discredit the government before the forthcoming Presidency of Bulgaria of the Council of the European Union.

"This is the only goal of the opposition as they have no real arguments against the Cabinet. The policy of PM Borissov has been successful and has received the positive assessment of the EU. Bulgaria has been turning into a better place to live and invest in," Tsvetanov added.
