Swedish companies have assessed positively the potential for doing business in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced. This was made clear during a presentation on "Bulgaria -Attractive Market for the Swedish Business," organized in cooperation with the Swedish Embassy.

Sweden presented data from a survey covering more than 40 Scandinavian companies operating in Bulgaria. According to the survey, the main incentives for investing in Bulgaria are its EU membership, low cost for maintaining enterprises, developing infrastructure, geographical location, taxation. The main obstacles are said to be the difficulty of finding workers, bureaucracy and the unreformed justice system.
