President Radev: Effects of global warming are already a threat to many countries

The consequences of global warming are already a real threat to many countries in the world, affecting economies and causing loss of human life. This was what Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said in Paris, where he takes part in the One Planet Summit, dedicated to climate change.

According to Radev, we could no longer pretend that climate change was not a problem and added this problem could not be solved just by restricting or banning traditional energy production, or by limiting greenhouse gas emissions.

According to the president, a process of deep transformation of the way we produce energy was needed, as well as better education systems and more investments in innovative technologies and projects.
