The National Assembly Committee on Legal Affairs rejected at an extraordinary sitting in Parliament the veto imposed by Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev on the anti-corruption law. Ten MPs voted in favor, seven MPs voted against and no MPs abstained. The rejection of the Presidential veto on the anti-corruption law by the legal committee proves the lack of political will for real and comprehensive fight against corruption, Bulgaria’s head of state Radev told journalists.
