A conference is taking place in Sofia focusing on the enforcement of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In a video address to the participants, Mariya Ivanova Gabriel, European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society commented that the regulation alters the EU’s data protection rules, bringing them up to date, thus preparing Europe for the digital age.
