Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has asked the Czech government for available information on CEZ Group's deal in Bulgaria. In a telephone conversation with his Czech counterpart Andrej Babiš, PM Borissov expressed concern about the intentions of the company in which the Czech state holds 63 percent, to sell its assets to a company that has not proved itself on the market.
Babiš has pointed out that he was informed by the company that the sale was completely legal and did not pose a risk to any of the parties. According to Babiš, checks have shown that there are no problems for the completion of the deal. He has expressed his readiness to provide the results of inspections to the Bulgarian authorities.
