President Rumen Radev greets Vladimir Putin on re-election as President of Russia

Bulgarian Head of State Rumen Radev has sent a greeting address to his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on his victory in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation.

"I hope we will work together for the realisation of existing potential of bilateral and mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, in the interest and for the benefit of our two peoples," the letter from the Bulgarian President reads.

In his greeting letter, President Radev also pointed out the centuries-old historical and cultural proximity between the Bulgarian and Russian people.
