2.5 tonnes of amphetamines seized in Varna

The Prosecutor’s Office in Varna has started pretrial proceedings after the seizure of a container with 2.5 tonnes of amphetamine derivatives. The container was intercepted at Varna West port.

The recipient of the cargo is said to be a foreign national from an EU country and the delivery has arrived from China.

If this amount of drugs is processed its price may reach 500 million euro, experts said.
