A large quantity of weapons, including machine guns, sub-machine guns and pistols, was seized in a Police operation in Bulgaria. The weapons were found in a private garage in Bulgaria's capital Sofia. The Bulgarian Police detained one person in Sofia and seven people in Kazanlak region near an arms plant. BTV media informs that some of the detainees are foreign nationals. According to Bulgaria’s Deputy Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev, the group possessing illegal weapons was linked with another criminal group involved in making forfeit documents.
