Bulgarian Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova has had talks with representatives of the International Monetary Fund, who are on their annual mission to Bulgaria. Topic of discussion was the current state of the energy sector in this country. Petkova pointed out that Bulgaria was not ready to replace the coal-fired power plants with another types of producers, highlighting the strategic importance of TPPs that provide over 40% of all electricity in the country.
