Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has met with the Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze who is paying an official visit to Bulgaria, the delegations of the two countries also held meetings.
Discussions focused on cooperation in the sphere of infrastructure, transport and energy. Mamuka Bakhtadze noted that Bulgaria is in the top 10 of Georgia's trading partners. The range of issues discussed included increasing the ferryboat capacity between the two countries and building a digital corridor – laying a cable for data transfer between Bulgaria and Georgia.
“We now have two ferries a week. It is our ambition to have two a day,” said Boyko Borissov after the meeting.
