The gas pipeline which has to connect Russia and Turkey via the Black Sea will start functioning on January 1, 2020. The extension which will pass through Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary is expected to start functioning in stages. The first gas deliveries to Bulgaria are expected to be made in 2020.
