Europe-Asia consortium invests USD 200 million in electric vehicles plant in Bulgaria

A Consortium of European and Asian companies is planning to build a factory for electric vehicles in Bulgaria. A memorandum of intentions for construction of this factory was signed in the presence of Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier for Economic and Demographic Policy Mariana Nikolova. The document was signed by the Executive Director of InvestBulgaria Agency Stamen Yanev and the managers of the Korean-Chinese company Songuo Motors and the Italian Hadid Holding. The two companies voiced intentions to invest in the enterprise in Bulgaria some USD 200 million. Nearly 2,000 jobs are expected to be opened during the fulfillment of the project.
