NSI: Labor costs per hour worked increase with 10%

According to preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute, in the third quarter of 2019 the total labor cost per hour worked increased 10% as compared to the same period in 2018. Labor costs in the industrial sector per hour worked increased with 8.3%, in the service sector these costs increased with 10.5% and in construction they saw 10.1% increase. Highest increase of hourly labor costs was registered in the following economic sectors- Operations with Real Estate Properties-15%, Other Activities-14% and Education-12.8%.
