Pilot population census in Bulgaria to be held online only

The pilot population census and housing census in Bulgaria will be done through an online census map only due to the epidemiological situation in this country. The census will take place between 0.00 am on April 20 and 24.00 pm on April 30. Samples of census maps are available at: census2021.bg. Every Bulgarian or foreign national residing on the territory of Bulgaria can sumbit an application, in order to fill in an online census map. They have to provide their Personal Identification Number, number and date of issue of a valid Bulgarian identity document. People can participate in the pilot census only from the territory of the country via computers or other portable mobile devices. The official census of the Bulgarian population will be held in January 2021.
