Rapid coronavirus testing of 60 people in two residential areas in Sofia reveal 7 infected

The Sofia Regional Health Inspectorate has conducted rapid coronarivus testing, as well as an epidemiological study in Sofia's districts of Fakulteta and Filipovtsi. Out of 60 rapid tests, seven were positive. These individuals were also sampled for a PCR test and currently they have no clinical manifestations, it was reported. The condition of 150 people who were in contact with them will be monitored. So far, six Covid-19 infected people who died were from the two areas. There are two more residents of the neighbourhoods in intensive care and 10 people with milder symptoms of the illness in hospital wards. As previously reported, a special checkpoint regime is being introduced on the territories of the two areas.
