Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova has announced that the free parking in the "blue" and "green" zones downtown Sofia that expires today will be extended by a week.

Residents and guests of the capital can park in the central areas of the city as part of measures against the spread of the coronavirus. Authorities are considering alleviating anti-epidemic measures, so that parents with children can have walks in the city parks, but only during certain hours and according to strict rules, the Mayor added.
