Trial online census of Bulgaria's population ends

A total of 5,806 people participated in the electronic census of Bulgaria's population and housing stock survey conducted between April 20 and April 30 in Bulgaria, Bulgaria's National Statistical Institute (NSI) reports. A total of 4,381 households and 10,284 persons in 390 settlements were counted.

Participants made suggestions for improving accessibility for people with disabilities, for additional functionality of the census system and for facilitating users.
The recommendations will be used by the NSI to improve the map and information system for the official census scheduled for January next year.
