The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has no information about infected Bulgarian workers in a slaughterhouse in Germany, as the country's data protection law does not allow authorities to disclose either names or nationalities.

This was what the Bulgarian consular service in Frankfurt told the BNR and added their help had not been sought. German media reported a new outbreak in the town of Coesfeld. According to articles, mostly Bulgarians and Romanians were those infected.
