Bulgartransgaz is launching a procedure for obtaining credit of up to EUR 400 million with a repayment period of 6 years.
The money is for the implementation of key projects such as the Balkan Stream gas pipeline, the Bulgaria-Serbia interconnector, the extension of the gas storage facility at Chiren, northwestern Bulgaria and the company's transmission infrastructure. The money will go to help diversify sources, increase the security of supplies and position the country as a gas distribution centre in the region.
