A team of researchers is to take part in the estabslishment of a Bulgarian-Chinese innovation centre in Sofia.
This was agreed at a meeting between President Rumen Radev and the Chinese Ambassador to Bulgaria Dong Xiaojun. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Education and Science Karina Angelova and the rector of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski Prof. Anastas Gerdjikov. The participants discussed ways to develop a project envisaging the construction of an innovations campus specialized in two spheres – IT and human health sciences. "The establishment of a Bulgarian-Chinese research centre in Sofia will promote the transfer of technologies and knowledge between Europe and China and will enhanced the competitiveness of both countries," President Rumen Radev said.
