Plovdiv hosts Days of Thracian Culture 2020 international festival

Bulgaria’s second largest city Plovdiv hosts until June 30 the international festival Days of Thracian Culture. The 8th edition of the festival is part of the cultural calendar of Plovdiv Municipality. It contributes to a more detailed presentation of the Thracian heritage and bridges common scientific and cultural activities.

The festival programme includes concerts, films, meetings, scientific conference and exhibitions dedicated to Ancient Thrace and Medieval Bulgaria. The award ceremony of the literary contest Thracian Heirs will take place on the last day of the festival.

The cultural life in Plovdiv is gradually returning to normal after months of standstill and we are happy with this fact, painter Georgi Ivanov-George Trak, Manager of TRAKART Cultural Center and organizer of the event says.
