Hundreds of people gathered for an organized sunbathing near Rosenets privately guarded beach near Burgas, which is located next to the luxury mansion of the honorary chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), Ahmed Dogan.  More than 5,000 supporters of the MRF gathered in front of the mansion fence in support of the former political leader.

The group, which came to the beach on the initiative of "Yes, Bulgaria" political party, has not been allowed for several hours to access the coastal territory - public state property by law, and has been blocked by a police cordon.
The situation escalated into tensions and clashes with the police, as a result of which the activist of "Yes, Bulgaria" Ivaylo Mirchev was arrested and several police officers were injured.
The mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov, described as a "mistake" the fact that the protesting citizens were not given access.
According to the latest information, some of the people will be taken to the Rosenets beach via a bypass route.
