The Minister of Defense Krassimir Karakachanov has awarded the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Bulgaria, Emma Hopkins with a badge of honor "For Contribution to the Ministry of Defense".
The award comes for successful bilateral cooperation and on the occasion of the completion of Hopkins' diplomatic mission to Bulgaria. We committed ourselves to a Declaration on Strengthening Bilateral Defense Cooperation, conducted joint exercises, seen British ships in the Black Sea and worked together on cybersecurity.
