A nation-wide protest has taken place in the Bulgarian capital and in more than 10 regional cities in the country. In Ruse, the road to Danube Bridge and the border with Romania was blocked. For 21 days, the demands for the resignation of the government, the Prime Minister and the chief prosecutor remain unchanged.

After dozens of protesters periodically blocked key intersections during the day, in the evening a protest rally took place from the courthouse to government buildings downtown Sofia, where people merged. Speakers said they would stay in tents in the so-called "Triangle of Power" until they see requested resignations.

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov called on protesters to stop blocking intersections in order not to disturb other citizens and accused one of the protest organizers of wanting to do political PR for money, as the offer was rejected.
